HOW TO KNOW WHETHER TO REPAIR OR REPLACE
Before deciding whether to have your vehicle’s glass replaced, we need to assess the damage to see if the glass can be repaired.
Cracks or chips can occur when a rock, gravel, or other debris is thrown into your auto glass from another vehicle. These can also come as a result of an auto accident. Your windshield will either need to be repaired or replaced to prevent further damage. To determine which is required, the damage needs to be assessed.
First, based on the shape, size, depth, and location of the damage, our technicians will assess the damage. If it is minor, we will repair it. If it is more severe or may lead to a compromised windshield in the future, we will recommend replacing.
After your auto glass has been repaired or replaced, we will make sure your vehicle’s ADAS safety features are calibrated correctly.
Our auto glass services do not stop at windshields! If you have been in an accident that requires your vehicle’s glass to be replaced, we can service your needs. We recommend having your auto body repair services completed by our sister company, JR Customs and Collisions. If another body shop has completed the repairs we can most certainly finish up with satisfactory glass replacement. We can also calibrate glass repair and replacements completed elsewhere.
